This superb French lace box dates from the eighteenth century. Made in the shape of a trunk and covered in pretty patterned
papier dominoté.
​The box folds open and can be tied closed at the front with the ribbon.

A beautifully made sterling silver round lidded box, decorated/engraved, with a semi precious stone/glass on its lid, the lid opens and closes perfectly, the box has been cleaned / polished, it has some minor scratches and marks, but still is lovely and in a good usable condition. Top lid Diameter 4.8 cm. Middle Diameter 4.7 cm. Weight 60.6 gr.Take a good look at the pictures, sold as-is.
