I'm a professional musician and used (3) of these simultaneously on my Windows 7 laptop, to trigger VSTi Instrument plugins at live shows, using a MIDI controller. When used in tandem with the ASIO4ALL – LOW LATENCY ASIO DRIVER FOR WINDOWS AUDIO, I was able to play the sounds of my virtual synthesizers in real-time, i.e. FM-7 (DX-7 emulator), B-4 (a B-3 organ emulation), and the PRO 53 (an emulation of the 1980's Prophet synthesizer).
