Unusual agate snuff box set in a finely reticulated brass mount.
The top is a beautiful striated agate, the bottom is an intricately patterned green moss agate.
Excellent condition. Measures about 2 5/8" x 2 1/8" x 7/8".

Antique Scottish snuff box. Cowrie shell set in unmarked silver metal. Underside has hinged opening engraved "A. Cheyne - Hae A Snuff." Measures 2-7/8 inches long, 2 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches tall. Hinge has possible replaced part on inside and lid does not stay closed, otherwise excellent condition.
