Swedish Birch Bark Snuff Box - Deer in Forest - Early 1800s - Excellent Condition. Snuff Box measures about 3-3/8 inches long, 1-5/8 inches deep, and 1-1/16 inches tall. Great color. Beautiful condition. Years of use has given the box a very smooth feel and deep color. There is a small chip on the banding on the box. It is in the lower rear where the wrap meets. On the hinge you can see a very small rub mark from opening the box. Inside the box on the lid you can see where the bark is slightly separating at the ends. The inside of the box on the bottom there is a loss of the finish from use. It can be seen in the photos. Beautiful Snuff Box with slight wear from the many years of use. Thank You!
