Antique silver or silver plated chased double snuff or spice box. Sorry I can't test for silver content, but it polished like silver. 2 compartments, 4" long and 2 1/2" tall. Not marked by the maker.
This is an antique black lacquer paper mache snuff box with silver inlay on hinged lid. Smaller size measures 3.75" x 1-3/4" and 1 3/4" high. Very good condition, with small signs of age and use.
