Antique solid silver snuff box with engine-turned engraving. Lid inscribed "R. T. Wm. from G. L. 1881." Blank oval cartouche on back. Interior has hallmark for Benjamin Barling (London 1859) with further inscription for retailer "Bryant & Oriels, Fleet Street, Oxford and London." Measures 2-3/8 inches long and 1-1/2 inches wide. Overall excellent antique condition.

a nice early American antique snuff box made of birch wood as seen in my photos above. I had purchased two of these snuff boxes from an estate of a old Pennsylvania family and I will be listing the smaller one in my other eBay auction so please take a look. This snuff box measures 1 3/4" tall by 2 3/4" long 1 5/8" thich and this has Come out of an estate and has been in a very old Pennsylvania familys house for well over a hundred plus years. It shows where from age and still has original contents in it but overall It looks good and displays well. I'm sure buyer will be please, sold as seen.
