Antique Georgian Paper Mache Inlaid Snuff Box.
Made in England in the Georgian period around 1820-40
This is a lovely example of silver metal inlay work.
The hinged Late Georgian-early Victorian box measures 1 13/16 x 1 1/4 x 11/16 inches.
The snuff box has lovely original patina. The condition is wonderful for its age and material being papier mache'.
There is a crack on the side and wear to the over-all box, as shown in the photos.
Repairable indeed!
