This super quality engine turned round snuff box was made towards the end of the Georgian period c. 1830. It is fitted with a high karat gold stop hinge, central unmonogrammed escutcheon and thumb lift. The lid, top and underside have been turned in a bullseye fashion. It is in excellent original condition with original finish and fittings. The snuff box is 2 3/4" in diameter and is about 3/4" thick.
