This is a USB to coaxial/optical digital sound card. it is also a hifi pure digital source.
It has optical and coaxial dual output interface, to meet different equipment’s requirement. You can connect it to DAC or Amplifier which has DAC function. As a PC digital output device, it can be very strong when use with external DAC.
As a highlight function, It can support AC3/DTS source signal output. You can easily experience real 5.1, 7.1 digital surround sound effect. Work with DTS decoding function’s DAC, you can light the AC3/DTS mark, meet the requirement of real hard-decoding 5.1. The performance will beat common soft-decoding. The sound quality will beyond on-board soundcard absolutely.
Due to it’s pure digital output, so the item is not support common analog device which use common RCA cable or 3.5mm plug earphones, only can connect to DAC or Amplifier with DAC module.
The device is very easy to use, you can directly connect it to your PC with USB interface. It will perfectly support APE, FLAC etc stereo lossless music files and AC3, DTS5.1 source code digital audio output.
Note: due to the soundcard is real AC3/DTS digital output, if you want to output DTS 5.1 channels source code signal, then can’t use common 2 channels audio online players to output DTS signal. The right method is download AC3/DTS high definition movie or music files. Then use professional players like Foobar2000, KMP etc. Of cause it can be used to play 2 channels lossless music, too.
If you use it to enjoy 2channels, then it’s driver free, plug and play. If you need to output AC3/DTS source code, then need install specific driver, and need simple setup on your PC.
