It has been tested to be a true 1 farad capacitor, unlike nearly all of the competition which are really 0.2 farad to 0.8 farad. Being that it is a true 1 farad capacitor you know you're geting optimum performance. You will notice improvements in your bass response (SPL), increase the peak power of your amp and help stabilize the voltage of your system.
The NVX XCAP1F capacitor owes it's true 1.0 farad rating to the fact that is has more electrical conductors as well as a greater amount of dielectric than it's competitors that claim a 1.0 farad rating. This true 1.0 rating allows the XCAP1F to easily handle any stereo system with up to 1200 watts of power output. This premium capacitor simplifies the installation process with a built-in distribution block which allows for direct connections between the capacitor and multiple amplifiers.
