This wall lamp has a metal wall plate & s-curved armature + a red-fabric shade, typical of the vintage dollhouse lamps. The wall-plate is 1.5” long. It is shown in my oldest DK catalog, which, unfortunately is not dated, with the catalog #418, but in the 1986 catalog it is labelled #2245. It is in VERY GOOD visual condition, cord, bulb, and plug intact. But it is wired with a type of plug shown in German dollhouse wiring systems, that I have no way of testing unless I completely re-wire it for a 1:15-scale system. I do have the parts to such a 1:12 system also listed on ebay, but I have chosen not to electrify my DK vintage houses since I no longer have the fine-motor skills necessary to do it. I toyed with the idea of removing the wiring and just using this lamp decoratively, but I think it is a shame to do that to a vintage DK piece. Flickering Lights Fireplace Set by Miniature House. Designed for the 1:12 scale miniature setting. 12 volts. Long bulb measures 1 3/16 inches tall x 5/16 of an inch wide in diameter at widest point. Small bulb measures 9/16 of an inch tall x 1/4 of an inch wide in diameter at widest point. This fixture is supplied with a 12 volt bulb for immediate use and a second replacement bulb.
