For sale is an antique Victorian snuff box in the shape of a shoe, with a zinc plate on the lid and brass pique work. It is 4” long, 1 5/8” tall, and in excellent condition for a 150 year old piece.

Military uniform of the French Garde National Army circa 1788-1790 the portrait is of Yves Roche Gilbert Marquis de La Fayette . Hero of the American and French Revolutions. He was a friend of both Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette . Geo. Washington considered him a close confidant.
